Gar Saxon was born on Mandalore during the final years of the Galactic Republic and became active during the Clone Wars. He was voiced by Ray Stevenson, who also portrayed Roger Wesley in The Other Guys, Arkady in Final Score, and Firefly in G.I. Following the end of the war, he joined the newly formed Galactic Empire and became the Imperial Viceroy of Mandalore. He was originally a member of the Shadow Collective serving as a Mandalorian Super Commando during the Clone Wars.
He was a human male Mandalorian who lived during the final years of the Galactic Republic. He lastly appeared as a supporting antagonist in the 2014-2018 animated TV show Star Wars Rebels (serving as the main antagonist of both the episodes "Imperial Super Commandos" and "Legacy of Mandalore" in Season 3, and as a posthumous antagonist in Season 4). He later went on to appear in Season 7 of the 2008-2020 animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars as one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Rook Kast) of the Siege of Mandalore arc. He first appeared in the 2014 comic miniseries Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir as a villainous supporting character.
